Focusing With Your Whole Body

A Foundation Course in
Wholebody Focusing

With UK WBF trainers Addie van der Kooy
and Cecelia Clegg

We are delighted to invite you to join us in a short, intensive introduction to the key elements of Wholebody Focusing (WBF).

A fundamental aspect of WBF is to allow your whole body to become a grounded, alive and aware holding space into which you can welcome whatever is reaching out inside you to be heard and held – so that it can move forward in the way it knows how.

For instance, when a suffering place inside you can feel itself welcomed within this safe context of your whole body, it opens up and awakens to its own healing wisdom – an innate knowing how to unwind its suffering and re-connect within the wholeness and aliveness of your body.

To let your whole body become the safe, larger context for such deep healing, you need to step into a “conscious partnership” with your body in which your radical acceptance offers the body the space to open up and guide you into its aliveness and healing wisdom.

This on-line training course spans 4 consecutive Saturdays, totaling 12 hours. It aims to give you a direct experience of the above by experimentally introducing you to the key elements of WBF: Awakening To Presence, Welcoming Process, and Holding Both With Equal Positive Regard . You are also invited to commit to daily practices between sessions.

This Foundation course is open to anyone. Familiarity with Focusing is desirable but not essential.
